Here we gather all evidence of license entitlement, analysing and delivering your effective entitlement position.

From there, we will identify all available sources of Oracle inventory and deployment information, reconciling the sources, determining what products are deployed on which servers and the hardware specification of those servers.

We’ll conduct a precursory, highly granular audit using Oracle’s scripts, allowing us to determine exactly how compliant you already are.

We’ll take a deep dive into your current compliance situation. This may identify both over- and under-licensing, as per Oracle’s anticipated audit approach.  

Whilst establishing your position, we will make a series of adjustments to optimize your license assignments based on Oracle licensing rules. The final workbook represents the effective license position (ELP). This will result in a comprehensive report of your current license position.

During this stage we will ensure that you only negotiate for licenses that you actually need, with the best terms, and at the best price point. Any contractual provisions will be optimized to be beneficial to your organization, too.
